My client is asking a question I've wondered about many times: how do we control the order of the tags used in the tag filter?

the "filter navigation" menu ... Setting the order on the components>tag page doesn't seem to make a difference.

Do you have the thread where we discussed this previously?

With your site it seems logical as its alphabetical - what were the users looking to achieve order wise?

I could be thinking of a different user so I wouldn't look too hard

I think they want to organize by the type of project.

Isn't that more to do with what particular tag names are used rather than the ordering?

well, if the tags responded to ordering, problem solved. but they don't. and the filter breaks altogether if tags are grouped (say, into hospitals, education, etc.).

something about Joomla tags....

Just spoken to Anthony and zentools2 will handle tags differently

"Yes you can specify a custom filter order
for example - type work,news,services]
and it will override the default output"
