Dear all,

Hi. I 'm a new subscriber to Joomla Bamboo. I downloaded the quick start package of the template "New Lifestyle".

The problem is, as the title says, that my installation stucks in "installing sample data".
The only change I have made to the quick start package is turning "InnoDB" into "MyISAM ", because, if I don't, the installation stucks in "creating tables" ;p


What can I do? I want quickstart installation, so the option to install manually the plain template is not good for me.

Have you installed the sample data from a joomla.org install?

Yes, I have installed many times a quickstart package of a template and I never had a problem with the sample data.

Can I check have you managed to install any other Joomla Bamboo quickstart or is it just this one?

Is it possible to try a different Quickstart just as a test to see if its just one template affected or its something else

I have just installed Newstream2 quickstart package and the installation was succesful in just a few seconds...

I've just tested the newlifestyle quickstart on windows7/xampp and installed without any issues.

Where are you modifying the schema, in the sample data sql files?

Which version of xampp are you using and what are the php/sql versions?

Windows 7
Xampp 1.8.3
PHP Version 5.5.11
mysqlnd 5.0.11

I don't know what happened, I didn't do something different, but today I tried again and I have just installed it successfully. LOL.
