How can I make the email input field work in bottom-extra?

Hi Rene,

You would need to add a module that handles that kind of functionality. Check out the extensions.joomla.org site for contact forms and newsletter signups forms.

The on eon the demo is just for display purposes.

Hi Rene,

Mailchimp may be worth a look and there are several modules offering mailchimp support

Mailchimp is free (below 2,000 users) and quite good - I'd check it out if looking for email newsletters
