Have you tried altering the breakpoints so its always triggered?

I set it to 10000 but that messes with other stuff in the top bar like making the spans 100% all the time, so I had to revert.

I think this is another limitation of Bootstrap 2. As far as I recall there was no separation with navcollapse or grid collapse. I think that came later.

I can guide you through the changes to make but from the other thread it sounds like you may be better off using a different theme.

... bummer. I am already deep into the cusomisation of that project, but I probably have no choice considering the other thread too. The most important custom piece I need to transfer is the outer sidebar you niftily incorporated for me on that template.

How do I see which of the templates are built with Zen Grid 4?
