Image Size for Banner Slideshow Pics New lifestyle

I have a similar problem:

I have my own pictures in the same format as the example slideshow. Image resize is the same format. But the images are very little and i can not see them. I can make any changes but the images are still very little on the left side. Maybe you can tell me, what i did wrong?

I've just moved this to a new topic

Do you have a link for the site?

You would need to create a ticket in that case

What sizes are the images?
Do you have image resizing on?

yes, i have it on, but no matter how the option is, nothing changes. first i had the same settings as in the example, so 900 x 355, also my images are in that size. second i tried it with 1600 x 600 , but there is no change. I tied it also with reszing and without resizing, but there is no change? so i looked at the original pictures and they are in same size 900 x 355

ok, so i did, thank you!

Maybe you can tell me another question, in the navigation on top, there is a menu and at the end and there is the item "more". Where can i change this name, because its a modul and not in the menu items.? But i cannot find any title for it. Is it possible to change the name in the backend?!

The following user(s) said Thank You: Webbiene
Regarding "More" the setting is under the effects tab
To disable it turn off any module published to the panel positions

Yep sure

You had column2 added in the layout this forced the image to display in the space available

I've also set the image settings to default for now on large image sizes - I'd suggest coming back to these responsive settings further down the line with the site build

The second part of my answer above I'm referring to

zentools.joomlabamboo.com/specifying-image-sizes-based-on-screen-sizes

But at the moment I'd leave this for now

Ok, funny, because i made no changes there. But its good to know.

So the panel item works fine, but there is not much place for text. I did not want to disable it. Maybe in the css file i can change that?

So are you looking to add some space around the text?
