module class suffix on custom module not working

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

i cant seem to get a module class suffix to work on any of my custom html modules. im using joomla 3.3.3 and new lifestyle template. i was first trying to get a module or header class suffix for the tabs position of the template in hopes that i could add an icon to the tabs buttons (li a elements)...but no luck. then i tried to add a module class suffix to a custom module in the sidebar2 position and it also didnt work...meaning = the class suffix doesnt show up in the html of the page. it just generates class="custom" on them all. am i missing something? has something changed from prev versions of joomla?

Can you point me to a specific module you are trying to target?

any of the tabs underneath the slideshow (screenshot)...such as our vision, health & aesthetics, world class facility etc. those are all custom html modules assigned to the tabs position of the template. its the same with the sidebar2 module "skin care" in any of the article pages. the module class doesnt appear to be generated.

im in the middle of doing a lot of dev / design for this site in general so it just struck me as odd that i was unable to generate a module or header suffix for any of these elements.

most recently i was trying to add icons to the tabs position and hoping i could add a unique header class to those custom html modules and then add my cusom icons.

beyond that though...im simply wondering why i cannot get the suffix to generate. any help?

I'll try that again - you will need to extract the php file

Yes think that is best - could you include ftp and joomla access details

Thanks

its just the custom html module with this problem...that i know of so far. i put a random class on the breadcrumb mod and it worked as expected (attached image). you can see the module class "bready" in the backend and also in the generated html.

I think its the position rather than the type

If you could open a ticket that would be best

Thanks
