I am working with MAMP on my computer. I downloaded two folders, one is labeled JB_NewLifestyle_J2

The other is labeled JB_NewLifestyle Quickstart_J323_v2

Which is the one that I turn into a zipped file and then upload and install to Joomla as a new template, and then what is the other folder for?

I tried uploading the first one and there was an error message when I went to the front end that said something about a missing plugin.

I just tried again and the error message reads:
500 - T3_MISSING_T3_PLUGIN


Please help.

The quickstart is a variation of the demo site

This needs to be uploaded to an emply folder in the mamp server

and then extracted

Then you point the browser at that folder in your mamp

The non quickstart version needs to be installed through the joomla installer - this version contains no demo content

with

"I just tried again and the error message reads:
500 - T3_MISSING_T3_PLUGIN"

You need to download and install all the extensions listed on the template download page and once installed check they are enabled

The T3 plugin for example is required for the template to work

The extensions come pre installed with the quickstart version
