Hey Folks, trying to install JB Type and JB Maps on Joomla 3.2.2 fails with the following message: JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file.
Any idea?

Do you get that with both files?

With JB Type that normally means you are trying to install the JCE JB type plugin (this needs to be installed through the JCE component installer)

Hi Paul, yes, I get it with both files: JB_jbtype_J1.5_J2.5_1.5.10.zip and JB_mod_jbmaps_J1.5_J2.5_1.2.2.zip.

I'd normally say its self extracting on download but the akeeba one is strange

Could you try installing a different extension as well - say JCE or something like that

Phoca Download Extension wired fine as well. I also have another issue: I am missing top4 position to publish the top menu... It appears in the T3 admin interface but can not be selected as a position.

with the zip files do you see any xml file in there if you open/extract them to view the files?

Try uploading the jbtype plugin files to a new folder in the tmp directory
and in extension manager use the install from directory option

I'm not a mac user so will ask a developer to take a look

The files you should installing are

JB_mod_jbmaps_J2.5_J3.1_1.2.5.zip
JB_jbtype_J2.5_J3.0_1.9.0.zip

For Joomla 3 can you make sure you are downloading the Joomla 3 file versions

Guess I was logged in as I was able to read the forum entries. However, I fond the file locally from an download I did earlier. JB Type is working now.
