Add Cart icon to masthead

I'm trying to configure this template to include the cart icon in the masthead just like it is shown in the Live Preview demo with the Search icon beside it. Is there any documentation on how to achieve this? Is there any documentation on how to setup any of the other demo content/modules?

You need to published the hikashop cart module to the cart position
