Enabling development mode enables the template to run on LESS (the template was created with LESS files which are converted to CSS when not in development mode) files, this is obviously useful if developing the site using LESS.

Important

Once site is finished Development mode must be disabled as it degrades site performance and won't run correctly in old IE browser versions (IE10-)
