Menu hover won't do anything

Hello,
I've just started building a new site with One Page. I have the main menu set to hover to display the drop down of that menu, but instead it only responds to click. When I click the menu item, it doesn't go to that item, it opens the drop down. You then have to click on the (main) menu item a second time to go there. In the module I do have show sub menus set to yes. I would like this to open with a hover, then be able to select anything from the main or drop down. Thoughts?
