Error message on contact forms

Not sure if this is template issue or chonoforms which I am using for my contact us form.

www.acdraftshields.com.au/other/contact-us

When I go to the form and not fill anything out and hit Submit, any required fields pops up a message to say to complete that field. All works except for the drop down lists which makes the message sit in the top left of screen rather than at the drop down field itself.

How to fix - would it be the template or chrono do you think,

Does it happen with the default Joomla template?
