Images Slideshow right align

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello,
I'm trying out the new template and i already have an issue that probably has a simple answer...
I really like the slideshow in the banner with transparent .pngs. But what i don't get is how they arrive from a different angle than the text and mostly how they keep to the right of the screen. I checked the democontent images and the png are not wide images. How do you get them to go where you decide and stay there?

Otherwise, the interface of the backend is awesome.
Oh, And i tried this template because it looks really good!

Thanks bamboo people!

Cheers,
Annick

Sorry, i just got the 2 or 3 columns thingy, so that's that.
I swear i try to resolve my own problems first, but Murphy's law makes it that often i find the answer seconds after i asked in the forum...

Everything is not resolved, though...
The slideshow i positioned in Banner is too high and overlays the logo and menu whereas in the demo it stays at the limit between the main content and the top-background image.
Also there's a gray overlay on the whole slideshow space.
And finally, it's so uphigh that my images are cut and i only see the bottom of it.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I can see localhost on the screenshots but do you have a live link for the site?

Hey Paul,

No, not yet. I just started trying it out.
I'm on local host only for now.

Do you think we could have a screenshot of the slideshow settings of the demo?
Because, i think that's where i went wrong...
I'll keep twiking and hope i get it right somehow.

Thank you for answering anyway!

Annick.

Hi Annick

I think the best way would be to install a quickstart version of the site so you can compare lots of different settings

That was the way I first used Joomla Bamboo templates - one real site and one demo version

Found it so much easier than going off documentation

But if you think screenshots will help please post back asking and we will add some

Cheers

Hello,
thanks for the tip,
that's what i tried to do the first time i used a joomlabamboo template too.
But Everytime i dowloaded a quikstart version it never worked. The template was not included.
I install everything ok but the template in question (i tried with highline/collector/focus and now nebula) does not appear in the list of template administration. So everytime, i've had to reupload the non-quickstart version.
So i don't know if it's me that does something wrong but the end result is i never found the demo site settings.

If it's me, PLEASE, tell me what i do wrong, it would be so much simpler to explore the templates with a guide for me!
Otherwise, a screenshot would be most helpful!

Thanks, i can feel i'm being a pain...

Cheers,
Annick

No worries

If that happens normally it means you've not selected to install the demo data during the installation

The demo data contains the content of the site, modules and template

Can you try again and see?

Hey there!
Well,...
Don't i feel stupid now!
Thank you so much!!! i completely glossed over that demo data part of the installation!
So, that's probably a whole lot of obvious questions i shouldn't have to ask anymore!
Thank you very much, kind sir!

You made my day!

cheers,
