K2 front end editing is absent

Hello,
So I have had this issue with now 2 different templates. The K2 front end editing is absent. I have used K2 with great success for years, until now, and I am told by the K2 forum that it is a template issue. In K2, I have created a K2 user group with permission to edit the front end, assigned the users to the group, and ensured front end editing is able in the parameters. Yet when I am logged in, nothing shows up for K2, only the joomla articles.

Here is the site (it's just a demo site for internal stuff), and K2 is running the blog.
