Nice template. Like the space it gives to content very much.
So I do not like the way the sidebar is stuck right next to the main-text container:

Also in a blog-vieuw there is no space at all vertically between two articles:
evakookt.nl/snel-klaar-gerechten.html

I am working with joomla 3.1.5, php 5.3.22, mysql 5.1.70.
When I try to compile less to css (??) the busy wheel keeps turning and never stops.

Advice much appreciated.

Few questions here

for the no margin of the left side on left side

.sidebar.sidebar-1.span3 {margin-left:0;}

I'm removing the margin-left: 3.34448160535%;

so you need to add the sidebar line as is to the custom.css file

Second point - can you try adding this

.blog .leading-0 .article-title {margin-top:-55px;}
.blog article .article-title {margin-top:0;}

I'm removing the minux margin that removes the gap but adding it back to the first article
