template edit style become crazy

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I really don´t believe.

Start to reconfigure the menu, save and then I can no more see the options:
dropdown trigger,
animation,
duration

and of course my menu don´t work more great, will don´t show the sub menu itens, to show the dropdown trigger with mouse click. Never work!

How can I fix it?
Many thanks in advance

I think we are talking a bit cross purposes here

With the menu being vertical the drop down effect/duration isn't available I believe

The drop down could be the submenu option not enabled

I'll check to confirm

I'm saying that in this template that I don't think the drop down animation options are available in this template

As the template only uses a vertical menu

I will check to confirm

Hi Ricardo,

Yes as Paul said the drop down effects arent available. The theme uses javascript to hide the options and thats why you see a flash of them on page load.

Thanks

sorry both, but I don´t understand, before the template become crazy, I see all Navigation option, the submenu work off and the hover on tour menu workgreat. The problem start when I change mouse hover to click.
The submenu itens are too long, I need the dropdown.
It´s definetly a template problem, if not the template navigation option will not disappear of backend or I don´t know, maybe the t3 framework.

Now I set Off-Canvas Navigation and Always show submenu Off, and the Tours Menu work with mouse click and the sub option with mouse hover.
The most strange is see not more the full option on backend.

Hi Ricardo,

I don't see those options on any of my local or live test installs

What template and t3 versions do you have installed?

With the dropdown if you think about it - it would be a problem with it being a vertical menu - dropdowns are for horizontal menus

You could try adding the accordion class to the menu and or the module suffix

That seems to work for me locally

Hi Ricardo,

I was wanting to check the versions to see if I could replicate the incorrect behaviour

As Anthony said

"The theme uses javascript to hide the options and that's why you see a flash of them on page load."

Those settings aren't intended to display and looking at the values you have will have no effect if they did - other than the defaults that apply now

To get the drop down as per an accordion try using the accordion class in the module advanced tab

I'll ask Anthony to review this thread when he is online tonight

Cheers

wich accordion class you means?

I put at module class sufix and menu class sufix field the word: accordion (with space before) but this don´t help. The action of main menu is exactly the same

at accordion page (zentools.joomlabamboo.com/accordion) I can see the accordion classes name with firebug, but it´s dosen´t work.
