language prefix

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,

I know this isn't template related but joomla I'm at end of my options and hope you have the knowledge.

I added multi language to my local website, J 3.1.5 with success
Added same to production website J 3.2.1
Both have Dutch language as Default.
Both have plugin language filter >> Remove URL language code = enabled

Difference is that on local the language prefix "nl" isn't displayed in the url the other languages are displayed.
Local: For some reason the menu option are automatically prefixing the the not default languages and not prefix the default.

Production:
The menu's are not prefixing any language so the url's are linked to a "non existing page"
If i switch the language switcher it's working but using the menu's it isn't.
Is this J3.2.1 related, Is there a solution?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Hugo,

Troubleshooting multi language falls outside our support levels I'm afraid as it can get complex/time consuming and its not an issue relating to a template - its a configuration issue

It would be something we can look at using a custom support block but I'd need to check with anthony on time required for this if you were interested

Hi Hugo,

Talking to the team it would be a minimum of 1 hour custom support as these are notoriously problematic

It could be more but if you want to go ahead please purchase the 1 hour support slot and create a ticket and we can go from there
