Moving through the details, I now see this:
Template is compatible only with Joomla 2.5.x and Joomla 3.0.x.

The Joomla3 site says it is at:
Joomla 3.1 is the newest version, recommended for most new installs.

So, is Grid3 simply not useable with Joomla 3.1? I hate to start a new project with a lid on my ability to upgrade the template to even the current release.

Please advise.

Updated for T3 v1.4 now - thanks for your patience.

After applying the update so that my Grid3 is compatible with T3's update v1.4, I'll apply the T3 update.

THEN will I / should I update my Joomla to 3.2? Will Grid3 be compatible with that?

As I mentioned in the other thread before you do anything make sure you have a functional and working backup to cover for any problems

You should be fine either way update wise
But there are some reported glitches with the core Joomla 3.2. version

I am not being clear in my question - or just not understanding your thoughtful replies.

Anthony just notified me that he released an update for Grid3 that will be compatible with the latest T3 v1.4 update.

I am assuming that Anthony's realease will be a .zip file that I would then upload in my Extensions manager AFTER I have made a complete backup of the website.

What is the web address for the page with Anthony's latest files for Grid3?
