Hi, today I was browsing my site in a friend's computer and virtuemart was a mess.
He has internet explorer 8.
The products display very bad, the categories are out of the rows and many other disasters.
Is there any way to fix it? Could I insert some css lines for correct this view in old browsers?

Hi, I have the same problem with the template Blankoshop not looking good in internet exlorer 8. Some styles I applied in my theme are missing, the megamenu is on the left side instead of the right, etc. In internet explorer 9, 10 and Firefox everything is allright. I have not enabled the development mode. It seems as if internet explorer 8 is not using the correct css. Can you help me with this?

As the ie conditonal files are being moved from their correct position

Can you check to see if compatibility mode is disabled in the browser?

Thats a native explorer setting up near the url bar.

It is disabled I think, I don't see the button of the compatibility mode.

In internet explorer 8 the pictures fall out of the page on the left side.

Can you attach a screenshot of the problem in IE8?

Its possible you may have jquery problems so I'd check the site out adding to cart etc

Screenshot 1 is taken from the IE8 Browsermodus, there you see the pictures are placed to far to the left. Maybe due to my widescreen?

Screenshot 2 is from an IE8 online renderer, everything is fine there.

I checked the site out with JBlibrary turned off and as you suggested the 'add to cart' and a slideshow don't work anymore. Do you have another solution for internet explorer 8 to use the correct stylesheet?
