Responsive template & virtuemart

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi, I'm working with responsive template. When I enter to my shop (created with virtuemart), the images of the products are displayed above the main logo of the site. I don't know why it happens. When I use the default templates of joomla (beez5) it doesn't happen.

I've also tried with blankoshop and it's the same, a wrong placed display of the product comes above the main logo.

Can you help me?
Thanks

Hi there,

I believe this is a conflict between bootstrap and Virtuemart.

if you use our ZenMart css file it should solve this issue for you.

Thanks

Hi, it didn't work. With the new css file everything look better, but still an ugly product image display.
I've decide start working with blankoshop, I really felt in love with responsive template, but it's impossible to me to have a good design with virtuemart (I'm not an explert of anything, so I'm not saying that a good integration between responsive and VM is impossible).
I thing that blankoshop will work fine, is also a clean and beautiful template.
Thanks for all your replies, you make fell that I'm not alone :)

You can prevent the VM modal image display issue with a single edit of bootstrap.css around line 4300 to change
.modal {
position: absolute:

to
.modal {
position: relative:

(or use a custom css file)

But there is also a JavaScript conflict affecting the fancybox popup which I understand can be solved by rearranging the order in which the js files load.

Having said that, I think Blankoshop is a much better option. It works and looks good out of the box.

Thanks Kelvyn, I also thing that blankoshop is a better option.... with responsive I would have a lot of "extrajob" to make it work with virtuemart.
The design that blankoshop offers to Vm is very clean, I like it
