Superfish causes errors

Having an issue with the superfish menu scripts being active. When they are enabled, even if not being used, they throw a console error

Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'supersubs' software:63

I know it says akeeba but it's not akeeba causing it. I've spoken to both Nicolas and Ryan regarding this ( Nicholas blamed Ryan, Ryan checked and Determined it was the menu )
After testing I have to agree its superfish causing the issue.
Any suggestions other then "don't use it?"

Can you supply a link Troy - hard to tell without one.

Looks like the superfish.js doesn't have super subs.js loading.

jowwow.me/software , need me to turn supefish back on temporarily I assume?
one note: it doesn't show the console error if you on "home" but does if your on ARS items.

Can you try changing the order of the framework in the plugin manager. Either to be first or last to see if that makes a difference?

Just did and it didn't seem to make any difference. I've also tried using google JS w/o noticing anything.
