Zen Grid Image Resize not resizing

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,

I am using Epicure and am using the grid 1 position on my homepage to display a grid of images and intros from one category.

My issue is that however I set the 'image resize settings' all the thumbnails are just pretty small thumbs about 55px wide. The resize looks to be based on the width.

Am I missing something somewhere that I need to enable to make the resize settings take effect?

Thanks,
Ollie

Hi Ollie,

Do you have a link where we can see this happening?

Sounds like you may have the column set in the module which will confine the images to the width of the column its sitting in. This will be the case for two column mode in the module.

Hi Anthony,

The site can be viewd here: 79.170.44.141/office-blinds.com/

I'll have a look at the settings in the meantime.

Many thanks,

Ah, got it. Removed 'column 2' from the displayed items and it's cool.

Sorry, actually it's not quite sorted.

Unless I've got things wrong I'm expecting 'smart resize and crop' to create a thumbnail as per the settings I put in the following 2 boxes (width and height). I've set both to 300px but that seems to get over-ridden as what is displayed is an uncropped image which looks to be set to the width of the column and with an auto height.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi there.

Is the image resize option above that enabled?

Most of your images are being resized to 300x300px. I suspect that the images that are not resized contain spaces in the filename. This will break the resize script. If you use underscores_or_hyphens-instead it should be fine.
