Anything Special I Should Know When Updating?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I honestly did do a search for this, but didn't find anything that specifically addressed this.

I need to know if I can just use the joomla core installer and save over the existing Zen Grid Framework with the new one?

Or, alternatively, do I need to do something a bit more invasive like ftp individual files?

I've managed to go sometime without any updating on this, but I can't put it off on some of my older projects.

Can you please advise and/or direct me to instructions if necessary?

Hi there,

As long as you have not made any modifications in the framework itself you can just simply use the installer to install the latest version. You don't need to uninstall the previous, just install the new one.

Of course, before doing any upgrade of extension or template it is best practice to make a complete site backup, just in case ;)
