Superfish sub-menu items disappear

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I'm just starting on a new site using Grid2. As soon as I move my mouse from the main menu item down towards the sub-menu items, they disappear. Is that a setting I'm not aware of or perhaps a conflict somewhere?

Hi Brad,

Sounds like a javascript error. Do you have JB LIbrary enabled?

If so then please post a link :)

Thanks Anthony

Hi Brad,

JQuery isnt loading. Can you go in and apply the settings. Also there is an update to JB LIbrary v1.1.2 which fixes an issue that occurred for a previous update if you dont have that version already.

Cheers Anthony

Hi Anthony,

Same thing whith a grid2 site here, which I am setting up. Seems that there is something wrong with jb_library and jb_type. Can't uninstall them and when I install jb_library(version 1.1.2), with the old one installed(which came with the quickstart packege), it says that the plugin install went good. But nothing happens. Still probs with the menu.

Here is a link: www.lawebdesign.eu/testsites/quecosa/

And I will send you also an image of the backend, the plugin part where you can see jb_library and jb_type sitting there without a version and date.

Hope you can help us out.

Cheers,

Lesley

Hi Lesley,

Yes sorry we got to the bottom of this issue yesterday and it has to do with capitalisation (JB_library) and incorrect settings in the quickstart (jb_type).

1. For JB LIbrary via ftp navigate to plugins/system and rename plg_jblibrary to plg_jbLibrary - or vice versa.

2. For JB Type - you may need just to upload the files from the zip to plugins/system. We have an automated packaging system and while JB Type was in the database the files werent in the package.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi Anthony,

Worked out fine. Did not yet get to the jb_type issue but I think it will work out fine also. Making my 2nd coffee for this morning, woke up 10 minutes ago.

Thanks a lot for the help again!

I ended up doing a re-install of Joomla. Once I got JB Library up and running under the new installation, I had no problems. Thanks, Anthony.
