JB Slider fails after installing Alphacontent com

A running system with the JB Slider module stops working when you install the Alphacontent component (see www.alphaplug.com/index.php/downloads.html?func=fileinfo&id=1).

The error that is displayed is : Missing argument 3 for plgContentAlphacontent::onPrepareContent() in /home/www/99c3a190a9204cf9bf21b5603a28d7b5/web/plugins/content/alphacontent.php on line

How can this component interfere with yours?

Hi do you have a link to your site?

That error doesnt reference any of our modules though. If you are using the microblog module try setting render plugins to no to see if that goes away.

Hey there,

The slideshow module may not display on your page if there are javascript errors on the page that affect it.
There wouldn't be any conflict as such unless the component is loading jQuery as well.

No change after setting the plugin behavior to "Strip plugin code" in the microblog module.

Indeed the component seems to use jQuery and others complain about this issue at alphaplug. I'll first try to find a fix there.

No worries. See if you can disable alphaplug from loading jQuery as well.
