Hopefully have this question in the right category

I am wanting to implement Utafiti template but we need some unique icons to replace what is on the site at the moment as there is nothing in the font icon list that will suit.

Is is possible to create your own icon, and if so, what size are they created at, and how to add it and in a way that template upgrades, etc won't affect it.

We don't create any icons as such we pull in icons from fontawesome via the plugin and by the template

Have you checked fontawesome site to double check the icons?

Fontawesome doesn't have the icons I need.

I have created my own. Is there a way of using these in the title of the article - am using the Utafiti template and wanting to change the icons on the main page slide show at top. There is a heart and a circle with cross I want to change.

Hi

Have tried a few things but still can't get this to work. I have created the zen shortcode in the plugin - with custom words being draughts, insulation

That seems to be working - but I can't work out how to get some images I have created to appear like the font-awesome icons

Tried something like this in custom.css

.fa-draughts span:before {
content: url(/images/icons/AirFlow-Icon.png);
}

But not working.

Any clues?

With it not being a font you have much less control

not sure what you mean - is the image showing somewhere? I can't see it.
