You will notice that the slideshow's thumbnail grid is not aligning to the size of the actual slideshow but rather to the fullwidth of the page. Please let me know how I can set it to be aligned to the current slideshow's width.

I see the image being sized at 1024 x 600 and the thumbnail navigation being aligned to the width of the container / banner position

So this looks as I'd expect e.g. the image isn't as wide as its container and being centered means space to left and right

So is there a way to set the thumbnail to be centered to the size of the image size over the width of banner position or not?

For centering you could try adding the module class / suffix

zen-center with a space before zen
