jb icons in accordion article

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Just wondering why the jb icons are stripped from articles that are used as part of an accordion. Anyone know?
Thanks!

Can you please provide URL to the page where you have this setup so we can take a look?

Thank you, Paul. JB type is working within articles in custom HTML modules, but then, when I use it in a zenmodule, select the Render Plugin, it allows only some of the jb type elements. I found it will allow {jb_blackbox} but not the icons I want to use like jb_icon-leaf or jb_icon-quote-right.

The site is off-line, but I can bring it on line if this will help. Also, I would be happy allow backend access to you or Anthony.

Not sure if this is related, but I also attempted to install the JCE/JB Type dual to insure I wasn't mistyping the code, and while JCE installed fine, I couldn't get the drop down box for the JB Type to show. I must've installed it incorrectly. This is a minor problem.

The big issue is getting the leaf icon and quotes to work before April 1st.

I sincerely appreciate anything that would shed light on this quirk.

Hi Maria,

Its bit tricky to troubleshoot the jbtype as if I ask you to paste in the code it may will render it here

Do have the correct closing bracket? - can you attach a screenshot of the html code and a link to the page?

Yes, I believe I have the code right. You can even perceive a space where the icon would appear. Look at the home page slideshow–the first quote that pops up should have the icon-left, but doesn't.

I placed it on line temporarily:

Here's a screenshot of the type inside the article. I toggled to editor so you could see how simple everything is. I think I entered it correctly.

I can get that to work with adding this (I think)

#zentools128 .zentools :before {font-family: 'FontAwesome';}

Can you attach a screenshot for the quote? - is that on the slideshow as well?

Hiya, Paul~

The quote is supposed to be on the slideshow, but I was testing to see if any of the other jb type icons would work and left it at the icon-leaf.

Does it matter what module it is in? JB Type isn't working in any module.
I'm not sure if I am following you.

Does JBType not work in modules outside of dynamic content e.g. slideshow and tabs?

If you add that line to your custom css do other icons work in the slideshow?

The css I gave is just targeting that particular zentools module (the slideshow)

JBType works inside articles, however, if, as in the frontpage slideshow, you have any part of the article represented which has JBType, it doesn't show. The only way you see it is if you drill to the article itself. Does that make sense?

Let me check if this custom css resolves the slideshow thing.

Thanks much for your support. I really love JBType and want it to shine through. ;-D

Sure enough. Look at the frontage. There's the icon-leaf. I'm going to test the quote-right and quote-left.

Does this mean I have to set-up custom css to enable JBType to work for each module I use it in? Hmmmm. . . .

No it shouldn't mean that

I'm trying to establish where the conflict is :)

Do the icons show in modules that don't have dynamic content e.g. like a custom html module rather than a slideshow that is

Yes, if you click over to the slider titled, Coaching for Captains, you are looking at a HTML module. Works in that capacity.

So thankful for the responsiveness. Thank you.

Both the leaf and quotes work. Would you like me to text some more? Should we test another zenmodule to see if it works there as well?

The only thing is that I use JBType throughout numerous modules. Obviously, those aren't working.

When I get my business officially launched, I am going to have to send you and Anthony some t-shirts. ;-D I really appreciate all you do and try to spread the word on the quality of product and customer service I receive. Thank you.

Thanks for the nice words - we try our best :)
