Hi

I keep getting 'mail delivery system: mail delivery failed' emails on my personal address. They are being sent via the website www.vanisrael.be. Another thing is that in the control panel of my website, I have hundreds of users added to the site (see attachment).

Where does all this come from and how can I block these things? As far as I can see, there's nothing wrong with the website and they haven't hacked it.

I already tried changing my admin password, but no success..

If you go to global configuration > user manager

Do you have "allow user registration" enabled?

Hi Paul

I turned it off a couple of hours ago and now it seems to be ok.

I still get those email messages though, and the hosting provider let us know that there is an abnormal email activity on the website, that subscription forms may be abused. Can I do anything about this?

Does your contact form have any reCAPTCHA on it?

You may still get email bounces from the user management only being turned off recently

Do you have any commenting functionality on the site?
