which T3 should I download
the full package or quickstart?

I'd start by removing k2 - did you say in a previous post that you weren't using it?

Updating T3 isn't always the best solution as the template doesn't support versions later than 2.4.7

Has the site backend performance improved with the components being removed?

With the t3 plugin you could try upgrading to the latest version but I would make sure the backup works prior to the update

try to re install K2 and see if the error go away

Also if there is an update you should see what the update as it could be a security update.

As your extension it should always be up to date for security reason

But there are few issues currently on the k2 forum so I'd make sure a back up is in place before updating

I used to use K2 but ended up having ongoing issues like this
Uninstall sometimes does not actually remove all that it should.

Yes that is a problem with k2 - it can be messy on uninstall
