Can't get jTweet to show more than one user accoun

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Okay, I've played with this thing till I'm blue in the face, and can't get it to display Tweets for more than one user. I want to have 2 users displayed and jTweet will display tweets from either user, but never both. When I attempt it, all I get is "Loading tweets..." briefly then nothing. Is there somewhere I can see the result of the Twitter API query?

I have played with the settings, changed jLibrary versions, etc. Twitter queries work fine also, so it's not a problem with that.

Anybody have any advice?? I'd really like to get it working with 2 accounts.

I am using Zen Avanti and it works for me. Try settings as below.

Twitter Source Settings

Display your tweets or query?: Muliti user tweets
Twitter Username(s): user1, user2
Twitter Query:
Tweet Count :2 or more

If you have Joomfish installed and working you should check the settings under Joomfish.

Good luck..

Thanks, I've tried those exact settings and it doesn't work for me. Zen Avanti is a theme, isn't it? Not using joomfish (multilanguage?), not sure what that would have to do with jTweet...

I just tested on the JB site and was able to get it to display using the multi-tweet option and having "joomlabamboo, k2joom" in the user list.

Can you try that combo and see if it works. It may be related to your twitter accounts. When I checked the source you only had one twitter user in the source.

Thanks Anthony

That works fine, but my accounts don't work. What about my Twitter account(s) could cause it not to work??

I think there's definitely something wrong in the multi-user code for jTweet. I've tried several combinations of twitter accounts and sometimes jTweet will display both, sometimes none, sometimes only one of the accounts, most of the time it will not display the number of tweets I asked for (much fewer than it should), etc.

Are both accounts public?

If other people can get it to work and you can't, I suspect the issue to lie with your accounts....

I'm having the same problem on this test site: xmas.brandeeborror.com

This is a chamber site, and they want to add multi Twitter users to display. I've tried many combinations, but can only get 1 user at a time to show in the feed.

I even tried the JB twitter accounts as listed in one of your previous posts and it doesn't work with those either. All of the clients twitter accounts are public:

lcwinterfest, lakechelancham, lctrax

Any ideas?

Hey Brandee - sorry about that. It's still coming but we have been delayed unexpectedly with the August template.

Thanks Anthony

Thank you for this very nice extension. jTweet is the perfect extension for us other than the multi-user tweets bug. Is there any progress on this issue?

Thank you!

Stupid enough to say...

I've the same issue for the multiple account, hope there's a solution soon:

now i notice that by putting the twitter accounts like that

user1, user2, user3 is not working anything

but if i put " ; " instead of " ,"

user1; user2; user3 it is working just the first one
