I'm using jtweets 1.01 and it's almost perfect for the customer but it should not remove older tweets. Is there a possibility to remove this automatic hidding of older tweets? I just want to show the 10 latest messages independent of the publishing date.

Hi Raphael,

I think this is an issue with the search algorhythm. The new version of jTweet may help with this but Im not 100% certain. The search logic is controlled via twitter so not much we can do with it as far as I understand.

Thanks for a very cool module! The numerous config options make it easy to customize.

But as Raphael said (quite a while ago):If other Twitter-clients can display older messages, why couldn't JTweet do it too?

Any help/support on this would be much appreciated!

Yes this has been a bit neglected and Ill get Jason to take a look at it after the next template has been fixed. I had a feeling it was a limitation of the general twitter api - but are you saying thats not the case?

I do know that they have stopped saving tweets that are of a certain age. Not sure if this is still relevant:

Thanks for having a look at that. I've tested the Twitter API by hand, and (of course) got the same results as you do. Now, some other components developers (e.g. redcomponent.com) seem to have another approach which return old results too. Might be worth a look?
