The map is not displayed

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

When the page is loaded, the map is displayed for a moment, and after that a window with the following text is displayed:

Error
There was a problem loading Google Maps on this page. Details can be found in the JavaScript console.

This happens on the local disk, as well as at the following address: http://teplosvet/new
Exactly the same site is located at the addresses piro.ga, joomlabest.ru/demo1 but there the module is working fine!

Sounds like you are missing a valid google api key. Make sure you have the version of the module installed and the api key is correctly set up with google.

Here is the documentation

I have the latest version of the module JB Maps (JB_mod_jbmaps_J2.5_J3.1_1.2.5.zip), but there is no key entry in it.

It looks like an old version of the module. JB support will confirm but it seems you have jb map (v1), which is not supported by google maps.

You will need maps2 in order to display any google map, here is the link
www.joomlabamboo.com/joomla-extensions/maps2

Install the latest version and you will find the api field. You could then remove the old version.

Try that otherwise jb support should be able to help when they are online

Best of luck with the site

Regarding Google maps Google does still support older versions but new domains loading a Google map will need the api key

Cheers
