transition suddenly stopped working

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

My transition effect showing the titles have suddenly stopped working. It has worked before nicely, but now it doesnt. I have not changed anything in the module.

Here is an example of where it should work: descna.com/index.php/speciesrecords/fish/osteichthyes-bony-fish

The only thing is that the site had a crash after an uninstallation of webo seed up. A guy behind this extension got it back on track with this explanation:

"It seems that missing images problem has been related to incorrect BASE tag on website pages. Simple fix was to override BASE value by adding the following line to the file /www/descna.com/templates/j51_nebulous/index.php:
$this->base = 'descna.com/';"

I dont know exactly what it means and if it could be the reason for captify content not to work.

Help would be very much appreciated.

best regards
Martin

Hi MArtin,

Looks like jQuery isn't loading on the page.

Do you have the JB LIbrary plugin installed and published?

Thanks Anthony

Hi Anthony

Thanks for reply. I investigated a little further and found that in backend as administrator everything look fine. But, I later found out that the JBlibrary folder (along with many others) are no longer present in plugins - system. A real bummer... I have no idea what caused this and the only solution this far is a recreation from a backup (which unfortunately is pretty old).

Thanks for a great extension.

Best regards
Martin

Some of them I can possibly reinstall. But others I have no idea where to find - like: captcha, content, extension, editors and more (almost everything is missing). I have tried copying the folders from the backup. But it didnt work unfortunately,

Hi there,

I think Anthony meant JB Library. Re-installing Captify would not hurt either.

Hi Martin,

Just to step back a bit - how did you install this?

Was it a manual install or via a quickstart?

It's odd that plugins etc would just disappear on you.

Did you uninstall any extensions that may have triggered this?

If this is Joomla 2.5 you can use the discover tab to find any extensions that are available but not installed correctly.

Go to install > discover and hit purge cache then discover and it will show you what can be installed.

Hi Again

I am not sure what exactly triggered this. I did attempt to install a webo site-speedup extension which I uninstalled again (without ever enabling it). This is my best guess for the reason and it also messed up some other stuff on the site which was later fixed (before I realised that a lot was completely missing).

I did try to discover, but nothing comes up. I really cannot see any other solution than to recreate the site and hope the problem wont reappear.

thanks a lot for your interest

Hmm sounds worrying.

I can't think of anything else to help you unfortunately.
