overlay Text opacity in IE screwed

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello

Firstly, Catify Content is an awesome mod, thanks guys.

I am having trouble with the mod though in IE 7 and maybe IE8.

When on moves the cursor over the thumbnail the overlay text opacity isn't 100% as shown in Firefox and Safari on a MAC.

Is there any CSS file to be used for this issue when IE is in use?

The css file for captify content is in modules\mod_captifyContent\css
Sorry I can't be a bit more helpful right at this moment, I'll see what we can do.

I had found this css. I'm even having issue with it loading all the images properly as shown in the link below

www.nortongledhill.com.au/our-people/principals.html

again, this is an IE issue I'm as well.

Looks like you got the images all working now, but as to the ie 7 & 8 overlay issue: sorry about that - Anthony knows of this issue and will get onto it as soon as the new template is out.

Hello,

I'm also looking for a solution to fix IE issues with captifyContent

- text in caption seems to be transparent as well as the caption opacity
- the caption, from bottom, doesn't stick to the bottom of the image

you can view the bug on your demo site as well as the one i'm making
www.keyble.com/od
bambootheme.com/showcase/jul09/

exactly the same problem on both, very strange that no other post relates to this bug that we can verify even on your demo site
(IE10 and other emulated versions)

Hope someone can help me

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reply!
i'm afraid yes, it's the latest version (1.1.13 March 25, 2013) - did i miss an update?
btw, it also occurs on this page: www.joomlabamboo.com/joomla-extensions/captifycontent-beautiful-captions-for-your-content
is it ok on native ie 7, 8 and 9?
Do you have an idea on how to fix it?

Hello,
the extension bugs with IE; does anyone know the fix?
you can reproduce it also on demo pages of the extension so it's not related to my template or other parameters.

Hello,

Did you get any news regarding this issue?
The extension is fantastic, but unusable if not working properly on Internet Explorer:s
Too many people still use it.

Do you think the developers will fix it any time soon or is it hopeless?
