Opening Item pushes whole page below left column?!

Hi guys,

I have installed the FAQ and the plugin on a site that I'm hoping to go live this weekend, a nice elegant solution, thank you JB.

I have 2 problems
  • when I open a FAQ item, the whole faq jumps to a spot below the bottom item in the left column (see image)
  • When I press 'close all', the FAQ page closes and user is taken to the front page of the site

I love the FAQ but I can't use it if it does this.

Hoping it's a simple fix

Thanks a million

Paul

Hey Paul,

Might need to look at the styling on the site to fix this. Do you have a link to share. If t is protected, add s upport ticket and I'll take a look.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hi Jason, thanks for replying.

The dev site is at www.bingbangbong.com/j15

If you need admin access however, I'll be happy to send those details in a ticket or by PM.

Many thanks

Hey Paul,

Looks like it is the template styling that might need to be more specific here. There is no width given to the containing div and since it is floated left it will accommodate itself wherever it feels most comfortable.

If you add a simple style rule like this to the css it should fix the issue
div.tpcontainermain {width:700px}

You can add that to the templates template_css.css or other similar stylesheet.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hi Jason,

thank you for replying again.

I have since moved the site from the dev domain to the main domain and it no longer seens to push itself under the left column thankfully.

It is however redirecting any 'close all' or 'open all' clicks to the front page of the site.

Many thanks for your help. It's a very handy FAQ

Hey Paul,

That's unusual, my guess is that there might be some script conflicts. Do you have a link to the main site now? Feel free to add it in a ticket.
Glad you like the module.

Cheers,
Jason.
