content Access

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

In earlier versions it was possible to block a specific category from the site/google search

As the code has "advanced' this option has been removed.

Along the way it was possible to protect pages with a plugin so password access (alone, no username) was required. Eg. Content - ContentPassword by progandy.de.tt

This has dropped off as well.

I'm looking to protect a couple of pages to require "Password Only" access.

I don't need a new user group and I don't require the individuals to register to access as I already have a different use for user registration

Anyone got any solutions?

Hi Andrew,

Did you try this one:

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/site-access/content-restriction/10145

It is for Joomla 2.5 only btw.

yes I forgot to say I'd tried that one Testing it I can't get it to work  and from what I can read it doesn't apply to public pages.

I want something that is for non registered users that I email them a password to access a page, specific to them only.

The progandy one hasn't been updated for 2.5/3.0 :(

Thanks :)
