I;ve overwritten the file in the root directory. What else do I need to do in order to make my favicon appear?

The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hi Ken,

You probably read it from the other post, but the right location is the current template directory.

If your favicon doesn't change, you have to delete the cache or cookies.
