Adding Drop Boxes to other Templates

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I'd understand all this (at least better) if I'd have to publish the modules to postitions named "dropbox1", "dropbox2" and so on, but i can't find those positions.

Yep thats spot on ... you need to create the module positions in the admin area of Joomla its under the template manager and module position menu item.

- i use the top menu for displaying the drop boxes, right? In which position do I publish the top menu then to make it show up?

The links will appear where you put the part of the code. The links dont use a Joomla menu.

Keep at it ... your almost there ;)

Looks like the page is throwing a few errors. This is coming from placing the links inside the that operates the slider. You'll need to move the list for the external links outside the slider list of links to get it working properly ;)

Hmmmm:unsure: ....

I'm not sure how to achieve that. You mean that I cannot put the dropbox menu-links within the list of the slider menu items in the body area of the index.php? Where then? Or did I get it completely wrong???

Yes you should be able to add it to the menu but the links will have to be outside the list of links thta trigger the slide.

eg [code:1]

First Links

Second link

First Drop box

Second Drop Box

[/code:1]

So you've essentially got two unordered list sitting horizontally right next to eachother.

Sorry for the confusion I kind of assumed you would be putting the drop boxes at the top but it makes more sense to put them in the existing menu.

Let me know if that makes sense :)

ok, now i created two lists next to each other.

the code is like:

[code:1]

[/code:1]

is there anything wrong still???

this solution would be ok to me actually, but is there a way to mix the dropbox and the slider menu items?

Thx Anthony!!!
