Components Error on Elevate Quickstart

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I have installed the Elevate Quickstart template multiple times, however in every instance if I navigate to the xcloner or JCE Administration tab under Components in the Administrator menu i get a 404 page error. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi Jay,

Im just repacking the quickstart now after updating the template.

Ill remove the references to those components as they should have been removed before the package went out originally. The fix will be to either use the new package - ill post here when its available - or if you prefer I can attach the files to this post and you can put them in the correct directory and you'll be able to uninstall them properly.

Apologies Anthony

Hi Anthony
I have downloaded and installed the updated Elevate Quickstart, but the components menus are still there giving the same error messages. Any ideas?

Cheers

Did you use a new database Jay or the old one?

I just made a clean install of the QuickStart package and used "install sample data" from the installation option. Should I have done something different? Can I somehow manually remove these, or it is ok to leave them there? I would prefer not to have to do another install and start of scratch.

Cheers
