Logo Question

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I am wondering if there is some way to get the main logo banner at the top of the page to be a rotating image. Like if i have a folder with 10-20 images the same size, dimensions etc. and I wanted a new one to show up when a viewer goes to different pages on the menu.

I'm not great with coding, but I could sure figure it out.

Thanks.

Hi Devin,

Yep you could do this with a random, or rotating banner module. Joomlaworks have one but I havent used any to speak of.

You will also need to edit the index.php file and remove the <div id="logo"></div> and replace it with this:

<jdoc:include type="modules" name="user3" style="xhtml" />

Just replace the user3 code with the module position you want to publish the banner to.

You may need to adjust the css settings for the top_left div but that should get everything working the way you want it to.

Cheers Anthony

So I've got the random banner module running, but I can't seem to place it in the old logo position. I've got the module in the user1 position right now.

Not sure if edited index.php correctly.

Help!

Thanks.

Yep you need to put it in the topleft div rather than the verytopleft ...
