K2 v2.4 - should we wait for templates update?

Hi,
There is a new version of K2 v 2.4 issued today. There are some changes in K2 templates as Fotis explained. Should we upgrade K2 now or better wait for upgrade of Avanti etc by Joomlabamboo ?

Well all the changes Anthony makes are restricted to the K2 template files in template/html/com_k2, so these should not be touched by any K2 upgrade. There may well be additional output from K2 that is not styled now.

It is hard to say, I am going to give it a try on my own sites and see what happens!

If you are not prepared to make (and possibly use) a complete site backup, then I advise you to await some further input from Anthony.

I am foolhardy (and have backup) so I am just going to go for it!

Well, I just updated my own site, no issues at all.

But I now hear v2.4.1 will be with us in the next few hours!! :angry:
