Hello Seth,
why do not I get more answers to my questions?

Maybe I made some inquiries too complicated?

Or do I think that you can not get what I asked.

I saw that there is only you Online

Hey Ferdy,

You will always get a response to your questions as soon as possible.

The problem on the site is that there is a javascript error coming from the template.js file that you edited.
Try and restore the original template.js file and then make the changes to the color values as I advised before. I don't see any instructions I gave for removing the background so I am not sure what you're talking about there.
Anyway, let me know what the result is after these steps have been taken.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hello Jason
I restored the file 'template.js, I removed the background images.

As you can see the panel is now working, so I think that is a problem of file template.js.

You can send in the attached file 'template.js' (I would not like it was a mistake of copy / paste).

Hello thanks Ferdy

NO, with changes made to files template.js / template.css (background image and color in backgruond), the panel does not work for registration.

It seems that it is a bug template.js.

If I put the file without your changes everything works perfect. (As you can see from the home page)

I do not know what to do, if you still continue to use this template, or abandon the project 'simple shop'.

awaiting response from Jason, and then decide.

Hi Ferdy,

I think you must have introduced an error into the template.js file when making the changes, as Jason said. There is no bug in the original file.

I have just made the same changes myself (well, I just removed all background colour from the panel menu) on a Simple Shop site this morning, and the panel is working perfectly for me. I just followed the changes listed in this thread...

You didn't attach the file to your last post.

Do you have a ticket open for this issue still?

Hello Seth
maybe my English is not perfect.
if I remove all the background colors of the panel works.

I have to change the white background, and insert a background image on the sides.
Remember, I ask you to make changes to insert the image background?
this is the result I want to achieve (see home page now) the panel does not work

I do not understand what you mean:
(Well, I just removed all the background color from the panel menu)

if you want to make changes, I send you login and password for the server

I just don't understand the problem now. If the panel work when you remove the background colours from template.js, do that.

That is exactly what I did. This is my template.js:

jQuery(document).ready(function(){
// Tienda Hide Close Script
jQuery(".tab").click(function(){jQuery("#memberArea").toggle("normal");jQuery("a#closePanel").toggleClass("active");jQuery("a#openPanel").toggleClass("active");return false});var showText="(Show)";var hideText="(Hide)";jQuery(".toggle").prev().append(' <a href="#" class="toggleLink">'+hideText+'</a>');jQuery('.toggle').show();jQuery('a.toggleLink').click(function(){if(jQuery(this).html()==showText){jQuery(this).html(hideText)}else{jQuery(this).html(showText)}jQuery(this).parent().next('.toggle').toggle('slow');return false});

jQuery("#rightCol ul li a,#leftCol ul li a").hover(function() {
jQuery(this).animate({ backgroundColor: "#f9f9f9"}, 300);
},function() {
jQuery(this).animate({ backgroundColor: "#fff" }, 300);
});
});

Hello Seth,
as always you solve all problems.
Now the panel recording works perfectly.

I do not understand: your code is different from that of Jason? (Why)
Maybe I misunderstood something.

I noticed that there are alerts in Firefox. (Photo attached)

Hello thank you very much

Hi Ferdy,

You can ignore the 'border-radius' errors. They are css for other browsers which are not understood by Firefox, so they are ignored.

The K2 error is caused (I think) by this line in k2.css:

div.latestItemsUser {margin:0 8px 8px 0clear:both}

It should be:

div.latestItemsUser {margin:0 8px 8px 0;clear:both}

The hover error from theme.css can be removed by simply removing that whole line, as it is empty anyway.

I will need to hunt down the other errors....

Hello Seth,
thanks for new indications.
I removed the line 127 'hover' on file theme.css

I could not edit the file k2.css (I have not found what you recommended)

I am very pleased with the end result, thank you for the advice given and a lot of patience.
