simple shop

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello Friends,
I'm still here to beg for help,

I can not understand where are the articles, for example:
Where can I find the article I find on the front page to change it. (The best shoes around, etc..)

other question, I tried to change that image article in the shop is located at this link, but I do not see the updated result.
www.aniloae.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_tienda&view=products&task=view&id=16&filter_category=12&Itemid=61&lang=it

I see the update pop-up window.
Under no change in the image article.

Surely are difficult questions that I have made the request.

Try to help me with some examples or if there is a step by step tutorial.

I searched on the internet but I found nothing.

Thank you in advance and I understand if I do not get a response.

I wish you all a Happy Saturday and Happy Sunday.

Ferdy,

1) The info creating 'The best shoes around' is a module. Go to your module manager and you'll see it listed as a Custom HTML residing in the 'left' module position. You can replace this with whatever you wish by editing this file and re-naming it or replacing it with another module application.

2) The images used within Tienda can be changed from the 'Products' tab of this component. I did notice that when you upload and select to use a different image (using the View Gallery feature) you'll need to refresh your browser once you close the View Gallery pop-up window. Programming code SHOULD do this for you HOWEVER this component does not! Once you refresh your browser you'll see the new image.

Ok ED
For the first error is ok I do understand where the changes

For the second error when I open View Gallery features, the window is blank (white).
I checked the directory the images are there.
FTP://ftp.aniloae.com//joomla/images/com_tienda/products/Womens001

I also tried to upload a New Image from my hard drive, it returns error as you can see from the attached file.

You still have my data to the server if you can see.

Ah! I think you may be experiencing an issue which I ran into for the first time last week, and it is related to the admin template.

You are using Crisp right? If so, switch back to Khepri and try again. That resolved it for me.

I have already reported this issue myself (as I hate to use Khepri now!), so I expect that there will be an update to resolve the issue soon.

Hello, how are you Seth?
Khepi you use, I do not have a problem with krhepi.

images are not updated in Tienda

Perhaps it is working and in fact I noticed a big problem at this link:
www.aniloae.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_tienda&view=products&filter_category=12%3Acasual-womens&Itemid=61&lang=it

I have not touched anything, maybe Ed has made a change yesterday.

You perhaps you're referring to the problem of upload?

hello,

When you create an article Tienda, and we want to Upload New Image, the module is not able to do this.
If I upload a directory of images with FTP, Tienda is unable to update the page.

I think this is a problem Tienda, it seems that other users have this same problem.
projects.dioscouri.com/issues/1189

Or upload failure is a problem in IE?
(C:\fackepatch\casualwomens.jpg)

I wanted to install Mozilla Firefox on my PC but I found the same problem.

Let me know if you what I think is right or is a silly view.

What can I do to fix this problem?

Hello, Thanks a lot

My issue was also that I was completely unable to upload new images, by any means. The files went to the correct location, Tienda just never used them for soem reason.

For me, just switching the admin template from Crisp back to Khepri allowed me to upload images as normal. The ones I had loaded alreday became visible at that point.

I guess there may also be an underlying issue with Tienda though, seeing as you have the issue using Khepri. I am afraid that the best place to seek help with this is from Dioscouri. I really don't know what the issue could be.

Hello Ed,
I do not understand, I mean that I should use the template Crisp?

I check in, Template Manager> Administration (Crisp is not installed)

Crisp should I install?

Hi (i'm Seth!)

No. for me Crisp was the problem. Identical issue, but I resolved it by not using Crisp.

Your issue is clearly related to your installation of Tienda.

Ferdy,

No, what Seth was saying is that he was having issues with images showing up when using the Crisp Admin theme. For now, stay with the default Khepri Admin theme until you can figure out why uploaded images don't show up. He also suggested heading over to Tienda's forums (www.dioscouri.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=2) and do some research there to resolve this issue.

I will mention that Tienda is a free extension but their 'quality' support is a subscription based system (that is how they make their money to develop Tienda). On two of my Tienda installs, I am able to upload, view and select product images. So not 100% sure where or why this is a problem on your end.

Ferdy,

Not sure how much Tienda will delete when you un-install it. Some apps when un-installed wipe the slate clean while others don't. There is demo sample data/images you can option to install with Tienda once you re-install. By doing this you'll more then likely loose the shoe images that JB is using in their demo. But, you can re-upload them from the Quickstart package.

Ok, I think you understand everything.
I can explain how to re-upload from Quickstart package?

This operation does not lose all the work done until now, otherwise abandoned the project.

Hi
I tell you that I have just installed a new directory (www.aniloae.com/joomlaX)

I have not installed anything more than the file
"JB_Zen_Simpleshop_Quickstart_J1.5.20_v1.1.4.zip"

Unfortunately nothing has changed upolad new image.

open in new ticket if you want to give the possibility to better control.

I do not want to be invasive in the questions, but I need to solve this problem.

if I communicated that Tienda is a problem, I log on www.dioscouri.com pay for assistance.

please a little help again like you did.

Hi Ferdy,

I don't think there is any problem with your install. I just uploaded an image to it myself (aplogies about the bear on your frontpage now!) and it is working fine.

All I did was:

1) Open the product
2) Browse to the image
3) Press 'Apply'
4) Press 'View Gallery'
5) Select 'Make Default' for the image I uploaded

I guess we could all do with a Tienda user manual, except none exist yet!

Ciao Seth
How stupid, sorry for the stupid questions asked.

I saw when I upload new image, the red error, I do not press 'Apply'

why not working upload image

now works, remains one error on the upload window (red) before pressing the 'Apply'.

I have a question: (see photo attached)
because in 'Products' I scroll down?
revolves this possible?

Thank you very much for your patience with me

Hello Seth
Question scroll, not very important.

When I open in Tienda, the menu 'Products' you see a scroll of the IE window.
I think a problem with IE8.

Are working to change background colors in the file 'theme.css'
What should I change that line to the Main Menu?

Ah, now I understand. I had never noticed it. I guess there is an issue with the Tienda css using a fixed width for the product layout area.
