Hi
How do I remove the pictures of the first page of the template Simple Shop?
www.aniloae.com/joomla/

I would get the result as per attached picture.

How can I change the window size JB Slideshow?

Where can I download documentation (Help) Tiena?

Cheers Ferdy :)

The article called 'Features' (in the Blog category) has the plugin command, {loadposition microblog}. This command is calling up the MicroBlog module that is published in the microblog position. To replace this with the JB Slideshow, publish your Slideshow module into the position called, slideshow (just type over the current position with slideshow). Now in the 'Features' article replace {loadposition microblog} with {loadposition slideshow}. This will put your current JB Slideshow on the home page of your site.

You can adjust the width & height of your slideshow within the module's Parameters.

Tienda is kind of short on documentations... The best starting point is from this link;

I try to put the settings as per your advice:

1) Content > Articles> Features> {loadposition slideshow}
2) Module Manager > JB Slideshow v3.2 > Position > microblog
3) Module Manager > JB microblog > Orientation > Slideshow

Updating the web page I see no change, for sure I did not understand something.
I ask you to do a review of steps and if the facts are correct.

Ferdy,

I reviewed my instructions on my localserve install and I was able to get JB Slideshow to replace MicroBlog. If you wish, I can take a look behind you on your site. I'll need your Joomla Super Admin login information so I can root-around the backend. Please open up a support ticket with this info and post back here when you have done this. I'll be in/out throughout my morning but will be able to assist.

Ed

p.s. thanks for uploading your avatar. It's always nice to put a face to a username...

A big big thank you Ed for your time and precious help.
I greatly appreciate your help.
I'm a big fan of Joomla and JB templates but unfortunately I have little experience.
A big thanks to Joomla Bamboo, great design and great support, I really want to learn this job but I find it difficult to understand, forgive my stupid questions.

Now I try to understand where I went wrong in the settings of slideshows

Thanks again to you all for your patience, Ferdy

Ferdy,

Your most welcomed and thanks for the kind words. Oh, please don't consider your questions as 'stupid'. I believe I can speak for all of us in saying... "That is why we are here with JB... it's all about helping others! Someone took the time when we were learning, now it's our turn to pass it along"
Now I try to understand where I went wrong in the settings of slideshows

Most of the settings can be adjusted within the module's 'General Text Options' settings.

Anyways, let us know how else we can assist moving forward...
