Thank you for your help. I used your code and adjusted the number of pixel for the scroll of the background image and it's working on my test version : www.qualresearcher.partenairewebdepuis2004.fr/

Concerning the K2 article not being displayed in the main content :
I checked with the newstream template I am using and the K2 category of the article : I can only choose in K2 for the category the option "default template". The newstream template is not proposed. And when I switch to the Zen Avanti template for example, my aticle "La societe" appears when I click on the menu tab "La société". And I can also see the text I put for the home page with the Avanti template - without me changing anything in K2....

Any idea...?

Hi Stefan,

The latest version of the framework has the option of hiding the main content display on the front page. That option may be set to different values in the two templates.

Strange that the newstream K2 template isnt in the options dialogue for the k2 category. Can you check that you have the folders ar templates/newstream/html/com_k2/templates/newstream?

Thank you for your help.

I just checked and the option is set to "No" for hiding main content on the front page. And even when I click on the second tab of my menu "Société" I cannot see anything.

I also have the folder you mentioned templates/newstream/html/com_k2/templates/newstream.

The only item I edited is the begining of the theme.css of the template for my background image - see below in case you see something unusual or wrong - I added for example : .fullWrap {}
.containerBG {margin-top: 55px}


/* These styles set the background colour and any other style you want to attach to the rows int he theme. */

/* Used mainly to set the bottom footer colour and to create a faux footer */

You cannot select the newstream template if you go to:

K2 > categories > (your k2 category for societe article)

?

This is correct. When I go to K2, and choose my category (societe) with 1 article, I cannot select the newstream template. I have only 1 option : the default template.

That is very strange. Maybe you can select it in the menu item instead?

No, in the menu item, I can select the article but no possibility to select the template in the 3 parameter boxes displayed with the menu item.

Can you please just check that you do have some files in the folder Anthony specifed?


newstream/html/com_k2/newstream

If you switch to another template, like Avanti, then K2 will be using the template from the Avanti folder instead. To me, it looks llike there is no K2 template there...

Yes, there are files in this folder :

- php files : latest, item-comments-form,, item, category etc
- plus a folder : images

Yes, it's closed. I answered Anthony who found the solution (I had a previous version of the gridwork template) and told him that I would closed the ticket.
