I am curious why the menu seems to load differently on the demo site than some of the sites I have put up.

For instance, the Canvas template. On the demo site, the menu loads smoothly, or gradually when you put the cursor over it. On these two sites, it just instantly jumps out at you:

One thing, I did notice is that on intmotors.com when I go to another level of the site, the menu suddenly loads smoothly/gradually (ex. www.intmotors.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=22&Itemid=100036).

Any idea what might be causing this phenomenon?

you have the Galleria Module loading jQuery as well which is causing a conflict. Disable it in the module parameters.

mortenbo.org/
Has no jQuery loading so install and enable the JB Library plugin.

That should fix the errors for you.
