Hi,

I'm trying to change the logo in the Avanti template. The quality of the logo image (with my new logo) is poor as a png. I would like to make the logo file a jpg. I think the changes have to me made in the xml file (at least I think that's where they used to be made in joomla 1.0), but no clue where to / how to change png to jpg in 1.5.

Create the logo you want to use and place the finished file in into the following Avanti folder 'templates/avanti/style/logo'. Once placed into this folder, your new logo will show up in the template's Logo Settings drop-down parameters. Please note, the .png logo files used have a transparency background. The file format .jpg do not support this type of background. You'll need to add your specific background color to your logo design.
