URL redirect

Hi

My site appears to have acquired a redirect.

Instead of k6steam.co.uk This appears in the address bar: www.k6steam.co.uk/en/

Where has the /en/ come from? I've just run the site through Google webmaster tools, and it alerted my to the fact the redirect was there.

Any idea how I can get rid of it?

Multilanguage status module is disabled

Language code and language filter plugins are both enabled. I don't know what these do...

Ah. Disabled both plugins and the /en/ has gone.

What are they for?

en is for english
