Front end editing fails (again) after updating (yet again)

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I have a couple of sites that I've updated to the latest versions of J! (3.2.7), php (7.1), extensions (incl Zentools) and the JB templates (if needed).

Everything presents as it should to the visitor (whew).

However, when my client wants to add/edit an article from the front end (using JCE or TinyMCE) the Joomla tabs: Content | Images and Links | Options... etc don't appear.
They need these to add, 'Intro Image' and 'Full article image'.
The problem is the same on both websites.

Everything is fine in the backend.

I recall having a similar problem before (and I've looked for the solution) but can't seem to find it. I've spent the day trying to solve the issue. The solution was something I was totally unaware of.

Anyone in Bamboo-land have an idea?

Hope you can help,

Nick

The administrator has disabled public write access.
I should mention that the templates are Base 3 and Newstream 2.
Just wondering if I should downgrade to the T3 versions in the JB downloads page for these (e.g. Newstream2 has v 2.4.7 but I am running 2.6.5) Would that make a difference?

You mean 3.7.2 right?
"I've updated to the latest versions of J! (3.2.7)"

Can you attach a screenshot of what you have in the front end admin?

Paul,
Solution in both instances was to downgrade the T3 framework from 2.6.5 to 2.6.4
Once that was done, the missing tabs reappeared.

This solution may help others.
